The Redskins also signed former New York Giants safety Landon Collins. The player was signed to help improve their secondary. Foster was expected to improve their linebacker corps. However, he went down with a serious knee injury during OTAs and will miss the upcoming season.
After rushing for 1,042 yards and seven touchdowns last season, the Redskins decided to bring back running back Adrian Peterson, and added some insurance by drafting former Stanford running back Bryce Love.
